I am so excited to find myself back at Live Healthy Appalachia and in a new role as Director of Children's Programs. I am enthusiastic about healthy eating, active living, and I also love the outdoors. After graduating from Ohio University with my Bachelor's of Arts in Anthropology, I served as the AmeriCorps/COMCorps LHK Coordinator at Live Healthy. I left Athens in the summer of 2015 to serve an additional term with AmeriCorps as a community garden manager in Washington state. I found myself back in Ohio, near my hometown of Stow, over the last year and I worked for the Cleveland Zoological Society in their Membership department. While I was away, Athens and the amazing work being done here were never far from my heart. I can be found at the farmer's market, hiking, rock climbing, and on the bike path when not in the office. I can't wait to reintegrate into the Athens community and already feel back at home at Live Healthy Appalachia!
