Join Live Healthy Appalachia and the Ohio University Yoga Club for the 2020 Mindful Triathlon!

What is the Mindful Triathlon? The first part of the Mindful Triathlon is a 5K your way: run, walk, strut, or stroll, just make it to the finish line. There are no winners and certainly no losers. After the 5K we’ll reconvene for 45 minutes of gentle yoga. Whether you’ve never done the downward dog or you’ve mastered your lotus pose, this yoga session is for anyone and everyone. Lastly, clear your mind and relax your body because we are finishing the Mindful Triathlon with 15 minutes of guided meditation. Allow your body and mind to be still. The Mindful Triathlon is guaranteed to be a rejuvenating experience for your mind, body, and spirit!


  1. 5K Fun Walk/Run on Hockhocking Adena Bikeway
  2. Gentle Yoga (45 mins in Grover Center Atrium)
  3. Meditation (15 mins in Grover Center Atrium)

What to bring: 

  • Yoga Mat or Towel 
  • Water Bottle
  • Running or Walking Shoes

Register by March 20th to guarantee your shirt size!

Inclement Weather Plan

In the event of inclement weather, the Mindful Tri is still on! The 5K will be moved inside Grover Center along with yoga and meditation.  


31+ days fro the race = 75% refund

7-30 days from the race = 50% refund 

Week of race = No Refund
